In 2020, St. John School will celebrate its 125th year of academic excellence. Rooted in tradition but focused on the future, St. John School provides each child with the wings they need to soar toward being tomorrow’s leaders.

To mark the extraordinary significance of this landmark year, we are excited to announce the details of our annual fundraising event: Roots to Wings Auction Fundraiser scheduled to take place on Friday, May 1, 2020 at the Harborside Salons in The State Room.

Last year, this event generated over $110,000 to renovate and supply our Art & Music room, improve building air quality, and upgrade to environmentally friendly lighting.  We are relying on the support of generous donors like you to achieve this year’s fundraising goal of $125,000.  These funds will be used to support new initiatives which focus on growing our school’s academic resources and the continued evolution of the building’s security.

The 2020 fundraising initiatives are:

  • Continuing education for teachers in the areas of Academics, Technology, and best practices to support our students’ social and emotional learning needs
  • The creation of specialty libraries in the subjects of Science, Math and Italian in addition to improving in classroom libraries for all grades
  • Continued security enhancements to ensure the safety of our school community, which will include re-designing the main entrance of the St. John School building
